The top layers of our Tufted Hammock is made of solution-dyed acrylic Sunbrella outdoor fabric and the bottom layer is a neural cream color Duracord outdoor fabric. Both fabrics are highly sturdy and resistant to impurities, staining and fading; all while remaining as gentle as cotton. These two lock-stitched synthetic fabrics sandwich a chunky center of plush fiberbfill that’s made from 100% recycled soda bottles. This recycled filler is a nonabsorbent material that allows water to drain through and provide quick drying. Our Tufted Hammocks’ pillowy contours come courtesy of eight well-placed brass-plated rolled-rim steel grommets, which have the added function of keeping rainwater from pooling in the hammock bed. The hammock bed itself is offset on each end by chunky Cumaru wood spreader bars that are known to naturally age into a pretty silver grey color without losing it’s durability. Hanging chains and hardware are made from rust-resistant galvanized steel for added support. Our Tufted Hammock also includes a matching attachable trapezoid-shaped tufted pillow with the the same pillowy center of recycled fiberfill. Despite the advanced weatherability of a Nags Head Hammock, we do always recommend storing it in an enclosed desiccated place away from harsh chemicals and foraging wildlife during prolonged bad weather and other protracted periods when it’s going unused, to ensure its longest possible life. **Stand Sold Separate

Cumaru Spreader Bar: Brazilian hardwood, similar to teak, is 5 times denser than pine, cedar, and redwood. Ages naturally to a pretty silver grey.
Rolled Rim Grommets: Compared to telescoping grommets used by most of our competitors, our Rolled Rim Grommets create the most secure bond between fabric and ring knot, withstanding more stress and heavier utilize
Galvanized Hardware: Galvanized steel is used for all of our hanging chains and hardware for added support and superior rust protection
