Walnut Diseases and Their Treatment

They have many uses, both for native fauna and for humans, as they provide plenty of shade, food, as their fruit is edible, and high-quality furniture is made from the wood due to its great resistance to insect attacks.

And I want to talk to you about them below: about these pathogenic insects and microorganisms that can cause problems at some point. But What exactly are walnut diseases and how are they treated?

What diseases attack walnuts?

Anthracnose or canker is a fungal disease caused by various pathogenic fungi. In the case of walnut, the main cause is Gnomonia leptostyla. This causes circular, brown spots to appear on leaves, branches and fruit. You need to be vigilant because these spots are very compact at first, but they get larger over time.
